About this Workshop
The workshop is based on Serious Games Interactive's latest learning game in the Playing History series, which is aimed at history teaching for the 3 to 6th grade.
Playing History puts your pupils in important historical time periods where they get the opportunity to experience historical events at first hand, and in this game we will travel back in time and experience the slave trade.
The workshop focuses on how the use of games can help reinforce learning and teaching in primary school. You will be presented with digitally-based learning and teaching tools, and shown how these can be used in an educational context. Hereafter we will look at the concept and the didactic design behind the learning game Playing History and you'll also get the opportunity to test the game.
