About this Workshop

Now you get the opportunity to create your own soundtrack to the experimental animation film, 'The Little Dragon' when BUSTER invites you to a film music workshop in collaboration with the Copenhagen Council Music School in Kødbyen and the musicians Søren Siegumfeldt and Bent Clausen. In 'The Little Dragon' you get your money's worth of kung-fu chops, when the little Bruce Lee doll throws himself into fast-paced kung-fu, against the other toy dolls in the boy's bedroom. This beautifully animated cartoon is packed with evocative pictures and funny moments. There is no dialogue, just focus on music and effects. The two veteran musicians Søren Siegumfeldt and Bent Clausen guide you through the workshop, where you will have the option of either recreating the film's original sound or creating a completely new one. The music school provides all sorts of musical instruments, but you can also make the sounds like clapping, yelling or even stumping in the floor. In short, the possibilities are endless when you need to determine how the soundtrack to the film can best be created. You will be working together in classes, to compose a new piece of music for the film, and the workshop ends with you performing your various versions for each other.
